The author of this book assumes no prior experience with Scala and starts from the beginning, explaining how to install Scala, the Scala Build Tool and Apache Spark. A few pages were too much for me and I skimmed or skipped over them. One example is the first ship to carry prisoners to the new colony of Australia, another is the story of the first submarine which was build to be used in the Civil War! There are stories of ships that took explorers through uncharted waters and ships that gave hope to immigrants. And in studies, the 'organic' pesticides were shown to be just as carcinogenic as their chemical counterparts. This is not an easy book to review. Just plain brilliant. Like the first book, the scenes are graphic; Bertilucci and Brrémaud make no attempt to soften up how brutal and violent life in the wild is. Chapter 9 addresses unique situations (like multimedia), and Chapter 10 looks at the user dimension in information retrieval. The trill notation is not standard. I've waited twenty years to read this book trying to form my personal opinion on the September 11, 2001 facts. John's biography and musical career is the main subject of the book and it will live up to your expectations. Pedantic. couldnt put each book down.
